5 years ago, Tree was celebrating a Warriors championship victory at a local LA parade when he stumbled on a lifelong friend he never even saw coming.
Tree was walking the parade and saw a little 3-month-old puppy at the hands of abuse before his very eyes.
His instincts kicked in and he veered off from the parade with his friends to intervene and save this puppy from harm's way.
He's had him ever since and the rest is history.
After rescuing the pup from the streets, he chose the name Chef for his new dog and gave him a proper birth date that they can now celebrate every year, forever!
They also naturally make a pretty cool duo - Tree's a talented artist and both Chef and Tree have noteworthy followings on Instagram.
